The death toll from weekend's flooding in Tbilisi, Georgia capital has risen to 19 after the discovery of more bodies in the mud and rubble displaced by the waters, said local authorities on Thursday, June 18.
The zoo was heavily damaged during the flooding, allowing multiple animals to escape.

However, the director of the Tbilisi zoo was also arrested for questioning on suspicion of negligence.
The authorities said that a man was killed by an escaped tiger.
They added that workers are still trying to round up the escaped animals, with a focus on a group of penguins.
One was seen at a petrol station, while another has been sighted at the border to Azerbaijan.
A spokesman said the workers have been unable to lure the second animal out of the Kura River.
