A bomb blast in Maiduguri, Borno State, this evening, Wednesday, June 3, has killed six people, sources told AFP.
The incident reportedly occurred at a garage opposite a military unit on Baga Road at about 5:30 pm.

The blast, believed to have been carried out by Boko Haram terrorists, occurred at a garage opposite a military unit in Baga Road at about 5:30 pm.
“We have so far recovered six dead bodies. We are still working at the scene, so the casualties may rise,” Danladi Ajaokuta, a civilian vigilante told AFP.
The terrorists have launched series of deadly attacks on Maiduguri since the inauguration of President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, May 29, who described the sect as “godless” and “mindless” in his speech.
The insurgents had killed many in Maiduguri on Saturday, May 29 after launching an attack with rocket-propelled grenades. Just hours after the attack, a suicide bomber killed 26 at a city mosque in the town.
