Apam police were tipped off to the vehicle and searched it, revealing 30 wrapped sacks each containing 70 nicely wrapped substances best known to be Indian hemp, the police said.

This year about 10 cases involving Indian hemp has arisen. On March 10, two suspects were arrested with 435 slabs of Indian hemp but DSP Ahiatafu added that the police service will wage a war against those who are only interested in dealing in drugs in the region.

“Those who want to make this country ungovernable that they want to involve themselves in drugs should be mindful that we are there and we will always hunt them," he added.
