My rights are being violated - Suspect

According to Daniel Asiedu, he has been put in a Box like cell without being allowed to engage with anyone until he is brought to court.

This follows issues raised by the suspect that he is not been treated fairly in the BNI cell.

He further told the court he is only allowed to come out when he has to go use the washroom or take his bath. The suspect added he had made several complains about the treatment without any positive response.

Responding to the concerns of the suspect, prosecutor Superintendent Francis Baah told the court it is the first time hearing the concerns of the suspect and would investigate it further and take appropriate steps to correct it.

The Judge Steven Owusu after submissions asked the police to ensure the alleged convict should not be kept in solitary confinement and his rights be protected.
