Rawlings Should Prove Woyome Is A Thief

Lawyer for Agbesi Woyome has challenged Mr Rawlings to prove allegations made against his client that he is a thief.

Counsel for businessman and financier of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) Ahmed Musah, has charged former President Jerry John Rawlings to provide evidence to show that his client is a thief.

He said finds it extremely baffling a person of the former president’s caliber will make comments of such nature without the appropriate evidence to back it.

The former president in his view will lose the respect of the people if he comments on issues of such nature without the appropriate evidence to back it.

"If the former president has evidence that my client is indeed a thief, then, he should report him to the police for him to be taken to court", Ahmed Musah said on Adom FM’s morning show ‘Dwaso Nsem’.

He questioned why Mr Rawlings will call his client a thief when a court has ruled on the matter, acquitted and discharged him of all the allegations leveled against him, adding that he totally disagrees with the former first gentleman.
