Ga Trad. Council refutes claims of new king

According to the council it has no power to choose and install king for the Ga state and has done nothing of that sort.

The Ga traditional council has refuted claims it has enstooled a new Ga king.

The council further stated that they only recognize King Adama Latse as the overlord of the Ga state and gave the indication they will be forced to punish anyone who claims to have installed a King or carries himself as King of the Ga state apart from the recognized one.

A faction of the Ga state on Sunday enstooled and outdoored Dr. Kelvin Tackie Abia as the king with the name King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II despite the existence of King Boni Adama Latse who was installed in 2009.
