2 dead, others injured in gas explosion at Baku

The explosion is reported to have taken place near the Atuabo Gas Processing plant after a gas tanker experienced a leakage.

The said tanker was reportedly en-route to the Atuabo Gas processing plant site from Takoradi when the driver noticed the fault.

In an attempt to fix the gas leak, the driver drove to a nearby welding shop for it to be checked.
