Explaining what led to their capture, Chief Inspector Oppong said the suspects presented forged documents and fake information during the recruitment process.

He said their offences range between forging of birth dates, faking birth certificates and tempering with academic results.

He said the Police has noticed that all the arrested persons are from Techiman, Nkoranza, Sampa, Dormaa-Ahenkro or Nsoatre in the Brong Ahafo region.

This, he said, has raised suspicions over who aided the suspects to fake their information and documents, since all suspects had similar documents which seemed to have been laminated to outwit the officials.
