3 gays working at the Flagstaff House – Murtala Mohammed
His comments mirror that of the former Minister of Sports, Nii Lante Vandepuye, who claimed on Joy News that he knows some people at the Flagstaff House who are homosexuals.

Murtala Mohammed, who made the wild allegation on TV3’s “New Day” programme on Saturday said there are there three gay men at the seat of government but did not mention names.
“There are gays at the Flagstaff House…they are uncomfortable with this topic…there are three (gays) at the Flagstaff House. There are three of them at the Flagstaff House,” he said.

President Nana Akufo-Addo sparked outrage last week when he suggested that homosexuality is bound to happen in Ghana if there is wrong demand for it.

He told Aljazeera: “I don’t believe that in Ghana, so far, a sufficiently strong coalition has emerged which is having that impact on public opinion that will say: ‘Change it [the law], let’s then have a new paradigm in Ghana."
“I think it is something that is bound to happen like elsewhere in the world, they are activities of individuals of groups”, he said.
