Hon. Adda has come under a barrage of criticism recently for the filth that has engulfed major urban areas in the county.

A situation that has led to some Ghanaians labelling him as incompetent and therefore, he should be fired.

However, in his defence, Koffi Adda said his Ministry been understaffed hence an effect on their work. "I started the ministry with just about four officers… Now we are up to about eight. That is certainly not enough.”

Despite this personnel challenge, the Minister who also doubles as the Member of Parliament for Navrongo Central assured Ghanaians of the Ministry's resolve to improve the sanitation condition by June.

He said, "I am committed to it as charged by the President, and I am also committing to it because of the plans and resources being pledged to get the work done, and I am sure we will turn the country into a different place by June.”
