Earth tremor: "Asamoah Gyan and other residents must relocate"
Among the affected areas were Kasoa, Weija and Gbawe in the Ga South Municipality.

He warned the residents to relocate after some parts on Sunday morning experienced an earth tremor which scared them.
The tremor shook buildings and created panic among the residents, some of who ran out of their homes at around 7:50am.

The Geological Survey Authority said the fault lines are active which means that an earthquake can occur at any time.
Prof Amamoo Okyere in an interview on Accra FM warned the residents and asked them to move.
"The residents, including Asamoah Gyan living around that area, must consider relocating following the tremors," he said.
