The hospital is situated on a 260,000 square metres of land and it will become the second military hospital in Ghana after the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.

This is according to a Deputy Communications Minister, Felix Kwakye Ofosu.

In a Facebook post on Saturday, the Deputy Minister indicated that the project upon completion will have 105 housing units for staff of the hospital, shops, as well as 620 parking spaces, among other amenities.

The project, he said, will “boost healthcare delivery in the Ashanti Region and beyond and offer more options to the healthcare-seeking public.”
