Authorities at the Tetteh Quarshie Memorial Hospital in Mampong in the Eastern region have hinted that they are considering a transfer of corpses from the facility to other hospitals due to the unstable power supply to the facility.

The hospital is also referring all emergency cases to other facilities following the breakdown of its power plant some weeks ago.

The revelation came to light when the Akuapim North Municipal Assembly donated a 412 KVA emergency power plant worth Ghc3000 to the hospital.

The Medical Superintendent of the Facility, Mawuli Kotope Gyakobo who expressed his gratitude for the gesture said the power plant will help ease the pressure on them.
