1. Have a budget
As with anything else, the less money available, the more careful your planning needs to be. A budget will help you determine what you need to have and what you’d like to have. It will make it easier to make the tough decisions about what to keep and what to let go.

2. Get others to contribute
Once you have a funeral-planning checklist, you can tell your friends and family how much you are planning to spend and get their support.
