NPP chairman shows off his $200,000 gold necklace
Wontumi, who claims to have more than 100 houses in the Ashanti Region has been showing off his gold necklace and Rolex gold watch.

Speaking on the KSM show, Wontumi, who claims to have more than 100 houses in the Ashanti Region said: “The chain is called Wontumi. The Rolex watch is diamond and gold fused together. I bought it 120,000 dollars. The chain is 200,000 USD…”
Many have been wondering the source of the wealth of the politician, with some attributing it to illegal mining (galamsey).

He has, however, denied those claims.
“It is not galamsey. I have worked in the mining sector before. I had a large scale mining organization. I am not into galamsey. I work hard as a businessman. I am not into galamsey…” he said.
