According to him, at the appropriate time, the defence would “disabuse the minds” of the jury who would try the case.

The police are accusing William Baah of organising the townsfolk to lynched the Major Mahama May 29, 2017.

Currently, 20 people are standing trial for allegedly murdering the young military officer.

During the court hearing, the prosecutors told the court presided over by Ebenezer Kweku Ansah that the police are on the hunt for 13 more persons suspected to be involved in the murder of Major Mahama.

The state prosecutor, DSP George Amegah, told the court that the duplicate docket had been forwarded to the Attorney General's Department for advice.

He also indicated that the investigators were still on the search for 13 others they suspect of taking part in the crime.

Magistrate Ebenezer Kweku Ansah adjourned hearing to September 7.

This is to allow the police more time in their investigations and to await the AG’s advice.
