According to a report released by Brand Finance Football 50, Manchester United become the first club to pass the $1billion mark.
The Red Devils are now worth just over $1.2billion almost $300million more than Bundisliga winners Bayern Munich.
The leap in Manchester United financial power was made possible by their record-breaking new UK broadcast deal for Premier League rights commencing from the 2016-17 season worth $7.8billion.
