Police Hospital calls on public to claim or identify 200 bodies

The police is advising family members to report to the hospital in order to claim the bodies.

According to the Greater Accra Police Command, there are about 200 unclaimed bodies at the Police Hospital morgue. The bodies have either not been claimed by family members or they are yet to be identified by members of the public.

As such the police is advising family members to report to the hospital in order to claim the bodies while those with loved ones who have gone missing for long periods under strange circumstances should come and identify them.

The mass burial is scheduled to take place at the end of March 2017 and according to the police is a routine measure aimed at decongesting the Police Hospital morgue.
