Paul Afoko, Kwabena Agyepong asked to step aside

The Council of Elders of the NPP has asked Paul Afoko and Kwabena Agyepong to step aside as national executives of the party.

The Council of Elders of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has called on national chairman, Paul Afoko and General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong to step aside.

The elders appealed to the conscience of the troubled two in a letter addressed to them yesterday.

The Communications Director, Nana Akomea speaking on Joy FM confirmed that the two national executives have been asked to step aside.

The elders at their meeting on Monday May 25 also condemned the wranglings in the party and called for calm.
