Rahman Nunoo, one of alleged rapists of YFM presenter, named in reports

A young man has emerged as the one behind the kidnap of Ms Ada who was sexually abused.

It has emerged that one of the guys who abducted the YFM Presenter, Adaese Oda Onyinyechi, known in radio as Princess Ada has been figured out, in the disgusting pictures of the incident, a guy in a Barcelona jersey is said to be called “Rahman”.

On his Facebook profile, he got pictures with him in a Barcelona jersey and the band on his wrist as well. We are yet to find out how true it is that Rahman and his co-gangs are responsible for what happened to Ms Ada.

The police in Takoradi have revealed that this is the fifth time a lady presenter of YFM, who was said to have been abducted and sexually assaulted by unknown persons, has gone missing.

According to the police, they have recorded a total of five incidents in the last two years and that the last incident before this latest one was reported in February, 2015.

However, the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection has cautioned the media and individuals to stop sharing disturbing photos of the YFM presenter who was abducted and sexually assaulted by some unknown men in the Western Region.

In a press statement signed by its Communication Advisor, Abraham Asare on Tuesday said, "It has come to the attention of the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, reports that a female presenter of YFM in Takoradi has been abducted and gang raped. The Ministry finds it sad, that perpetrators of this heinous crime did not only assault the victim, but also shared photos of the act on social media.
