The New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo is off to Netherlands to attend an international conference of the party.The conference is expected to bring together all NPP international branches to deliberate on the future of the Party.The three-day Conference in the Netherlands, which forms part of a three-nation tour being embarked on by Nana Akufo-Addo, will see him visit the United States of America and Canada as well.Whilst in the United States, from October 18 to October 25, Nana Akufo-Addo will address the Heritage Foundation in Washington, DC, on Tuesday, October 20. He will also visit US government officials, including US Assistant Secretary of State for Africa, Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield, and US Senators, including Senator Jeff Flake, the Republican Chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Sub-committee on Africa.The flagbearer will attend NPP programmes in Washington, New York, and Columbus, Ohio, where his wife, Mrs Rebecca Akufo-Addo, will be the Special Guest of Honour at an event organised by the NPP-USA Women’s Wing.In Canada, Nana Akufo-Addo will address a town hall meeting in Toronto, as well as participate in programmes organised by the NPP branch during the period of his three-day visit.He will be accompanied on the trip by his wife, Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo; head of his presidential campaign fundraising team, Mr. Ken Ofori-Atta; Executive Assistant, Ms. Saratu Atta; Political Assistant, Mr. Francis Asenso-Boakye; Press Secretary, Mr. Eugene Arhin; and the Director of International Relations of the NPP, Mr. Charles Owiredu.Nana Akufo-Addo and his team return to Ghana on Saturday, October 31, 2015.
