Ofosu Ampofo made these comments in relation to the criticism that the NDC failed to elect a Voltarian to any of their top positions during the National Delegates Congress over the weekend.

He said his administration will cater for all NDC supporters across the country, therefore, people in the Volta Region should see him as one of their own.
“I will represent their interest and will ensure that they are well catered for. They should see me as their son from another mother and that they will not be left out as many perceive”, he said.

“There is no 'Voltarian' amongst the national executive members...”, she lamented urging the party to subject the outcome to deep thinking.
But Mr Ofosu Ampofo promised that her concern would be addressed when the new crop of executives swing into action.
