He said "I just gave a statement and provided the evidence they needed and its best that we allow the Police to do their work, I gave my evidence and told them why I said the people are corrupt and that was it."

A-Plus after questioning by the police said he is not willing to release his statement and evidence to the public but they have the right to demand it from the Police.

In a Facebook livestream announcing the fact that he had presented his statement and evidence of corruption to the CID, A-Plus warned members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to be careful because they rode on his reputation to win the 2016 general elections.

"I have told the Police what have to tell them. I am not releasing what I said to the Police but I am warning you, I am warning you. You don’t understand politics because you have everything to lose not me. Those of you who have the deliberate attempt to destroy me, you are trying so hard to finish the reputation that I used to push your campaign now it’s done you are in power so let’s finish A Plus. Go to the Police and tell them to release what I gave to the public," he said.

Background to allegations

A-plus has descended heavily on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for appointing thieves into his government.

According to him, the seven months of President Akufo-Addo’s government have been good so far except for appointing two criminally minded people as Chief of Staff.

A-Plus has labeled deputy Chief of Staff Francis Asenso-Boakye and Samuel Abu Jinapor as stupid and corrupt appointees.

In a Facebook post, A-Plus who declared his support for the NPP wondered why the two personalities were appointed to serve in government.

He said "NPP delegate’s congress…. 7 months of NPP government. So far so good except appointing some very corrupt officials including the two very stupid deputy chief of staffs. It’s amazing how Nana was able to appoint thieves whose level of stupidity is the same. Arrogant and corrupt fools. You think you’ll be in power forever. Even John Mahama I was not afraid of him then you."

A-Plus, however, did not state the basis for his allegation.
