His accusations come at a time traders at Suame Magazine industrial area in Kumasi were invited to the Presidency following concerns that their businesses are on the verge of collapsing under the current administration.

He said "How come it has to take the presidency to invite these traders to the Flagstaff House before their concerns are addressed."

On Friday, November 24, aggrieved spare parts dealers were invited by vice President, Dr. Muhamudu Bawumia following complaints their businesses are on the verge of collapsing.

The leadership of Ashanti Owners Business Association (AOBA) said the 3% flat VAT rate introduced by the current government is not helpful but rather killing their businesses.

"Where is the Minister of Trade and Industry?…is he in the country," he quizzed.

"If Alan Kyeremanteng is still the sector minister, I advise President Akufo-Addo to fire him immediately...the minister is just sleeping on his job and the President must take note and fire him," Mr. Frank Aboagye Danyansah added.
