NDC Primaries marred by massive electoral challenges

"There are so many constituencies that have challenges with their register. While some registers are not ready others have delegates names missing from them"

The National Democratic Congress' presidential and parliamentary elections  begun across the country with massive electoral challenges.

The party for the first time is adopting the universal suffrage system and the biometric system of voting.

"There are so many constituencies that have challenges with their register. While some registers are not ready others have delegates names missing from them" Greater Accra NDC regional organiser Anthony Nukpenu said.

In the Ningo Prampram constituency the youth in Ningo are calling for the election to be put on hold because about 2000 names are missing from the register.

In the Ashanti region ,election in about seven constituencies have been put on hold because the presidential ballots are not ready.

In the Kumbungu constituency in the Norther region the election has been suspended to tomorrow 22nd November 2015.

Speaking on Citi Fm Greater Accra regional organizer Anthony Nukpenu said “There are a whole lot of constituencies whose register has not even come it has appeared in several regions so the party is really challenged this morning.

“As we speak the presidential ballot is not even out there it’s a challenge “

The party is however calling on its members to remain calm as the issue are resolved.
