The Central Regional Chairman of the NDC, Mr Allotey Jacobs has confirmed the incident.

The fatal accident was said to have occurred on the Apam -Winneba stretch of the Cape Coast-Accra road.
Asiedu was in the company of the NDC regional treasurer Eric Essuah and a driver when the accident happened.
