Sam Pyne's Abattoir job good; he will never lack meat - Wontumi

Samuel Pyne and the Communications Director of the party Kwasi Kyei were two weeks ago appointed to serve on the board of Kumasi Abattoir which falls under SSNIT.

They were said to have received their formal appointments through Dr. Kwame Addo Kufuor, Board chairman of the social security and national insurance trust (SSNIT).

This was after some foot soldiers of the party had raised concerns over the ‘neglect’ of the two.

Reports subsequently said that Sam Pyne was not happy about his appointment, but Chairman Wontumi has denied those claims.

He said that Sam Pyne’s Kumasi Abattoir job could not have come at a better time.

“Sam Pyne’s popularity has soared with this appointment, he has fans all over the place now. As we prepare ourselves for the extraordinary National Conference later this month, I can assure you that there’ll be lots of meat to eat when we meet with Sam Pyne at the helm of affairs. Even when we’re reciting the Lord’s prayer we only ask God for two things, to give us our daily bread and to forgive us our trespasses. So when you have food like Sam Pyne has, then he must be okay. It’s a good appointment that has been made.”
