His comments comes at the back of some supporters and members of the Party who have gone on rampage over President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's selection of MMDCEs.
The activists have been up in arms over the nominations, condemning some of the president’s decisions against their wish.
The youth in Tolon, Zebila, Mpohor, Savelugu, Nanton, Sagnarigu hit the streets soon after the announcement Wednesday afternoon to demonstrate their anger at the choice of the president, arguing that some of the nominees did not actively campaign for Nana Addo during the 2016 election.
John Boadu speaking on the development said several MMDCEs will lose their jobs.
In an interview on Accra-based Kasapa FM, he said "Several of them by a year’s time will be sacked. I’m sure that I’ll receive reports indicating that some of them must have under performed, or had poor communication and relationship with party members and throwing their weight about in their respective areas, while other may have issues with chiefs or disrespect them.
"With such matters if established we cannot continue to keep such MMDCEs in office. So if someone is not nominated now, it doesn’t mean that is the end of the world, another chance may come."
He noted that "I’m going to make a list of those who equally deserved MMDCE positions but for one reason or the other couldn’t get them and ensure they are fixed elsewhere which is also dignified. We’re not going to be unfair to persons who worked tirelessly for the party’s victory in the 2016 election.
"No one should have hard feelings, patience in such times is very necessary. Whoever will be responsible for attacks on any property will not get any appointment."
