President Mahama’s main contender in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential primaries, George Boateng, was on Tuesday prevented from presenting his nomination forms at the party headquarters.

The presidential hopeful, who has been described as insane in some quarters stormed the party headquarters in Accra to submit his forms but he was denied entry into the office by some heavily built men.

Mr. Boateng decided to leave the party’s headquarters after realising that party officials were not ready to receive him. A middle -aged woman convinced a dejected Mr. Boateng to get into a taxi back home since the party officers were not ready to attend to him.
