The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has indicated to an Accra High Court it will want to toe the neutral position in the case where two failed parliamentary aspirants Philip Addison and Adjei Tawiah in the Korley Klottey constituency have gone to court to seek a declaration for the parliamentary primary held to be annulled.

The NPP who are first defendants in the case, told the court it failed to reach an out of court settlement with the plaintiffs and third defendant Nii Noi Nortey and would want the it to adjudicate the matter between the two parties.

The party after several weeks of non appearance in the matter, came to court and asked to settle the case out of court which did not materialize.
