Many believe Haruna Iddrisu, who is the Member of Parliament (MP) for Tamale South is more resourceful for the job than any other contender.

He has since assured all and sundry that he will work with his colleague parliamentarians from both sides of the House to strengthen the governance process in the country.

He added that even though he is aware that the NPP has a “comfortable majority, but we will do our utmost best to serve our country, to serve our constituencies and reflect national aspirations.”

“We are proud of our records. We are proud of many of the interventions as much as we respect the sovereign will of the Ghanaian people. They know better why they wanted us to be on the opposite side of the House,” he said on Accra-based Joy FM.
