The announcement was made at a campaign event at the Mantse Agbona square in Jamestown to a crowd of prospective voters for the candidate.

Very little is known of Mr Torto except that he is a businessman with interest in the computer and automobile industry. Accra-based Class FM reports that he started a company, Star Shotocan Enterprise in 1996 which was involved in the sale of computers and its accessories and that he currently runs a new venture with his wife.
The pair are promising to improve agriculture, tourism and the lives of women and restore teacher and nursing training allowances.

Yeboah was one of the initial four aspirants to have satisfied all the conditions set out by the Electoral Commission. As such, it unclear why he chose to unveil his running mate many weeks later, with 24 days to the polls.
Three more candidates have joined the race after an acrimonious string of legal suits.
Yeboah will be the seventh candidate on the ballot paper on December 7.
