NPP women must intervene in party's crises - Rebecca Akufo-Addo

The NPP has recently been rocked with some internal crises, with the latest development being the suspension of its chairman, Paul Afoko.

Wife of 2016 flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party, Rebecca Akufo-Addo has called on women in the party to rise and intervene in the internal wrangling currently facing the party.

Speaking to some party supporters in the United Kingdom, UK, Mrs. Akufo-Addo said "You have heard about the disparities in the top leadership of the party, the NPP. It seems to me this is the time for the female voices to be heard."

Many have argued that due to the ongoing internal wrangling within the NPP, the Ghanaian electorate is now torn between voting to retain an incompetent government and voting for a chaotic political party.

Meanwhile, Rebecca Akufo-Addo has accused the Mahama-led administration of being incompetent in the handling of the economy.

According to her, the economy is scrambling leading to some challenges in the country.

"I do not need to tell you that things are difficult in all spheres in Ghana right now. We have an incompetent government and the economy is scrambling before our very eyes," she added.
