As Nigeria goes to polls on Saturday, Founder and leader of Action Chapel International, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams has called on Christians to pray for Nigeria.

Duncan Williams said prayers and supplications should be made for all men “irrespective of their religious background, we are to intercede for all men, for Kings, [presidents] for all those who are in authority, whether you like them or not it is mandatory by God if you are a believer.”

He said the importance of praying for the country is to “block the enemy from carrying out his agenda through them and allowing God’s agenda to be executed in them.”

He however referred to 1st Timothy chapter 1 and 2 of the Bible.
