A lawyer for the victim, Francis Xavier Sosu has revealed that he plans to file a civil suit against the owners of Marwako Fast Food after the culprit, Jihad Chabaan was granted bail by an Accra Magistrate court on Thursday.  He also noted that the suit and other actions will be under the instruction of Evelyn and her family.

Earlier this month, news broke out that Mr Jihad Chabaan, a Lebanese supervisor at the Abelemkpe branch of Marwako Fast Foods was alleged to have dipped the face of Evelyn Boakye in blended pepper causing outrage amongst Ghanaians.  Mr Chabaan has since been charged with assault and was suspended by the owners of the Fast food chain.
