Angry residents hit the streets in protest against bad roads

According to the residents, government and the District Chief Executive (DCE), Solomon Fuachie, have failed to repair the area’s road networks, even though they always vote massively for the party.

They indicated that their attempts to get the government to pay attention to their plight has proved futile, and hence their decision to demonstrate.

Clad in red armbands and attires, many of the angry residents marched through the principal streets of the town with placards to express their displeasure about the situation.

The aggrieved residents then converged at the forecourt of the district assembly and presented a petition to the DCE for onward submission to President Mahama.
