The Internet has completely changed the way we use it. Initially, the internet was only getting used to search for products and services or to gather knowledge, but today, people use the internet not just to look for things but to connect with their idols too.

Nour Khodr says that Facebook is not just a social media platform where you connect with friends and family members, but the same tool can be used to connect with fans as well. Social media allows users to open groups and business pages. Using them, a social media influencer can talk about the different things that they are up to. Let the world know about their latest launch or release of a product. When someone reaches out, that individual can always reply to enhance engagement.

Another way to connect with fans is through Instagram. He says, “if you are an aspiring social media star and you don’t have an Instagram page, you are already missing out on a lot of engagement. Instagram allows you to go live. This is how you can connect with your audience whenever you want to.” When someone goes live, viewers start commenting to reach out to their favorites. One can reply verbally or non-verbally.
YouTube
YouTube is a mega video publishing platform. YouTube lets you upload a video about your recent product, service, or anything that you think needs to be shared with a larger audience. “By using the right techniques, YouTube can let an influencer reach out to their fans effectively,” says Nour. Yet again, YouTube has a comment section where people can leave comments, and an influencer can reply to a few to show others that you are here to connect.
Live Watch Parties
If a larger gathering is not possible, one can always organize a live watch party for their fans. Musical fests are getting canceled because of the pandemic, but everyone can have fun when there is a live watch party that too from the comfort of their home. Live watch party gives an opportunity to everyone to watch their favorite person stream their performances or any live events and enjoy the whole event to the fullest.
