Prof. Nakhabov showered praises on Russian State owned nuclear corporation, Rosatom for its tremendous work in the enlightenment of the world on the importance of adapting nuclear energy as a primary source.According to him, Students from African countries including Ghana have benefited from sponsorship packages from Rosatom to study Nuclear engineering and related courses in Russia over the years.

“Students from Ghana, Nigeria, Tanzania, Egypt, Zambia,South Africa and many other African countries who are interested in studying nuclear engineering will be sponsored by Rosatom……Rosatom is making it possible for these students at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate to receive lectures in Russia. There are resource Centers across universities in Russia for Nuclear engineering purposes. These Resource centers are not limited to universities but can also be found in various Rosatom offices in Russia and elsewhere where Rosatom has partners.”

Prof Alexander Nakhabov made these comments when winners of a video competition organized by Rosatom, visited his department as part of a week tour of Russian Nuclear facilities by the winners.
