"It’s a great privilege to host all of you at the 2021 edition of the MTN Invitational Golf Tournament. We appreciate you for honouring our invitations as we exercise to stay fit and healthy and also relieve ourselves from the week’s activities," said MTN Board Chairman, Ishmael Yamson.

"We are even more grateful for your coming out today because last year around this time, COVID-19 caused the world’s greatest disruption and prevented our engagements. Today, we all appreciate the essence of togetherness. Technology played a significant role in our adapting to the new normal but I am not sure technology could give us the same experience we are enjoying today," Dr. Yamson added.
