Hosts Gabon appoint Spanish tacticians as coach
Jose Antonio Camacho has been named as the coach of the Gabon Senior National Male Football Team ahead of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON)

The appointment of the 61-year-old was announced on Friday as a replacement of Jorge Costa, the Portuguese who was sacked last month for underperformance.

Camacho had 81 caps for the Spanish national team as left back and had a successful careers with Rea Madrid before coaching at several top Spanish clubs, including Sevilla, Espanyol and Real.
