On Tuesday, Ghana will engage hosts, Cameroon in the semi-finals of the ongoing African Women’s Championship, and they will be eyeing for their fourth final.

“Cameroon is a good side but they have never met a team like Ghana, though South Africa gave them a good game during the group phase games but we are not South Africa,” Basigi spoke to Asempa FM ahead of the game.

“We respect them [Cameroon] but we are ready to take them on and we will overpower them to qualify for the final.  I will admit that it is a difficult task but we will accomplish our mission, so we are going all out.

“We have never won the championship but I believe that this year is our year so we are going to do everything possible to achieve that target because that is our target.”
