We are not happy to draw, but it is good to draw when the need arises - Yusif Basigi

The two West African giants played out a 1-1 drawn game in Limbe on Wednesday on match day two of the ongoing African Women’s Championship.

Nigeria scored first through Assisat Oshoala, who took full advantage of a defensive error by the Ghanaian defence.

But before the break, Ghana threw everything at the nine-time African champions, and they had the equalizer through Juliet Acheampong’s spot-kick.
