The skipper of Kumasi Asante Kotoko believes the newly appointed executive chairman of the Porcupine Warriors has great plans for the club.
Amos Frimpong is convinced that Dr. Kwame Kyei will take Kumasi Asante Kotoko to greater heights.
The Kumasi-based business mogul was named as the executive chairman of the 23 times Ghana league champions to replace Paul Adu Gyamfi and Opoku Nti, as board chairman and General Manager of the club, respectively.
“From the way he (Dr. Kwame Kyei) was talking, he wanted the team to reach the standard of Real Madrid and do so well. He is a visionary person, who has a lot of plans for the club,” he told Happy FM.
Asante Kotoko placed fifth last season, finishing outside the top four are noted for.
The Porcupine Warriors have started the title defence of the G6 tournament well, thrashing FA Cup champions Bechem United 3-0 on Monday, which was the first game.
