Black Stars vice-captain ends Premier League season with a goal

Andre Ayew scored in the last game of the English Premier League season for his Swansea City side

The former Olympique Marseille player who joined Premier League team Swansea City last summer started the season with a bang, scoring against Abdul Baba Rahman’s Chelsea on his league debut.

The Ghanaian went on to provide a series of great performances that earned him the Best Newcomer of the Season and joint Top Goal Scorer award at the Swansea City’s awards night.

On the last match day of the English Premier League season, Andre Ayew was handed a start in the game against Manchester City who were battling for a place in the UEFA Champions League next season with a top four spot.

Ayew once against delivered scoring the only goal for his side to secure their last point in the English Premier League for the 2015/2016 season.

Manchester City opened the scoring via Kelechi Iheanacho after just five minutes of play before Ghanaian player Andre Ayew drew level on the stroke of half time to end the game 1-1 as both teams failed to score in the second half of the game.

Andre Ayew played in the entire duration of the game without a booking.
