Ghana vice-captain Andre Ayew is in line to make a return from injury in Swansea City’s English Premier League game against Stoke City on Saturday.

The 26-year-old sustained an injury in the Welsh club’s Premier League win against Norwich City in the first week of March. The Ghanaian player travelled to France for treatment on the injury and has not played in Swansea City’s last two games.

Ayew also missed the Black Stars’ international break games in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations against Mozambique.

The former Olympique Marseille player trained on his own at Swansea City on Wednesday as he bids to recover from the injury and has a slight chance of being available for the trip to the Britannia Stadium.

Andre Ayew joined English Premier League team Swansea City at the beginning of the season and has scored eight goals in 29 games for the Welsh club.
