Ghanaian star congratulates Modou Barrow for first Premier League goal
Ghanaian player Andre Ayew took to twitter to congratulate Modou Barrow for being the first Gambian to score in the English Premier League

Barrow became the first Gambian to score in the Premier League on Saturday after scoring the first for Swansea City in the game.
Mark Gradel opened the scoring of the game for home team AFC Bournemouth with Modou Barrow scoring the leveler before the first half interval.
Joshua King restored Bournemouth’s lead but Gylfi Sigudsson made it 2-2 before Steve Cook scored the winner in the 3-2 victory for Christian Atsu’s former club Bournemouth.
Andre Ayew who did not play in the game due to a knock on his ankle hailed Modou Barrow on social media and asked the Gambian to keep it up.
Ayew tweeted:
“Congrats bro @modoubarrow14 1st goal in EPL and 1st Gambian to score in EPL. Keep it up bro!”
Andre Ayew travelled to France to receive treatment on his ankle injury with Swansea City caretaker boss Alan Curtis insisting the Black Stars vice-captain is a major doubt for the Premier League clash against his brother Jordan Ayew’s Aston Villa on Saturday.
The Ghana international could also miss the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying game against Mozambique for his country during the international break.
