Swansea City set price tag for Ghana midfielder

Swansea City have put a price tag of £15 million on the Black Stars deputy skipper

According to Sky Sports the chairman of Swansea City Huw Jenkins would listen to offers from a club that tables down £15 million for the services of Andre Ayew.

The 26-year Ghana midfielder has been in the transfer news, after impressing in his maiden season in the English Premier League, scoring 12 league goals to emerge as Swansea City’s top scorer.

Sunderland are leading the chase for Andre Ayew, as there have been reports that Manager Sam Allardyce is preparing a £10 million bid for the midfielder.

Allardyce had his offer for Ayew rejected in the January transfer window, but his interest seems not to have died down.

Andre Ayew has failed to commit his future to the Welsh club saying in a recent interview:

“I think you should ask the chairman [Ayew on a possible transfer move].

“I’m happy here. If I have to stay, fine. If I have to leave, I have to leave.

“What is important for me is that I keep doing my work, and in football the truth of today is not the truth of tomorrow.

“We’ll see what’s going to happen, we’ll have a discussion and see the way forward
