Our game worked against Dwarfs, Michael Osei says

"Tactically, we were much disciplined and our character and determination was high" - Michael Osei

The Porcupine Warriors brushed the bottom-placed team 3-0 at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday in the Ghana Premier League match day 11, courtesy of Frank Sarfo Gyamfi scoring in-between Dauda Mohammed’s brace.

And interim head coach, Osei believes his boys were tactically good and played to his instructions.

He also praised the team for such a convincing win.

We knew the game was going to be a tricky one but we had confidence we could win. We went into the game with confidence," Michael Osei told reporters after the game.

"With such a result, I congratulate my boys because they have done a fantastic job. Our game plan also worked for us perfectly.

“We wanted to get an early goal and we got it. Tactically, we were much disciplined and our character and determination was high. It was a good one for us,” the former New Edubiase assistant coach added.

The win moved Kotoko to fifth position on the league log, four points less than league leaders Hearts of Oak who toppled Wa All Stars for the first spot after the Wa-based club slumped to a 3-1 loss against Techiman City.
