Sports Ministry ends anti-doping campaign with athletes

An anti-doping exercise have organized an anti-doping campaign ahead of the 2018 Commonwealth Games

The Ministry of Youth and Sports have gone through the first phase of an anti-doping exercise in preparing potential athletes ahead of the Commonwealth Games this year.

The resource person for the workshop was Chairman of the National Anti-Doping Organization (NADO), Dr. Nana Afriyie Ayew.

The workshop was held at the Accra sports stadium on Thursday 11th January,2018  as Ghana prepares to compete in the international multi-sport event.

The Commonwealth Games which will be held at Gold Coast, in Australia from the 4 to the 15 of April 2018.

Ghana in the last Commonwealth in Glasgow was able to amass two bronze medals.

Ghana has participated in 16 editions of the commonwealth games where the state has won 15 gold 18 silver and 24 bronze medals.
