"My ex-girlfriend left me after she won an American Visa Lottery to New Jersey in the USA. [When she heard I had won] she called me and said she is seeing some fake news, and I said, 'thank God it's fake news': wait and see. I will be in the USA for two weeks and you will see whether its fake news or not," he told the media in an interview.

Fosuhene also talked about his plans for the coveted money, saying he intends taking care of his family and business while seeking the advice of financial planners as to what to do with the rest.

"Even when I did not have this money I saw myself as Mark Zuckerberg," he said. "I want my one male child to be like Bill Gates. I have a girlfriend and want to get married but it's all steps."

Asked whether he would stop betting now that he has won a lot of money, Fosuhene, who said he had been trying the jackpot for a while before his eventual win, told reporters: "I even have a bet on my phone right now as I'm talking. I'm not stopping."

"[The money] is enough, but money is to make (more) money. There are a whole lot of responsibilities ahead of me. I have aims too. I have a target, so it's still on. Even when I win more, it's still Betway," he added.

Fosuhene also insisted he will not allow his sudden wealth to change the course of his life.

"Everything that I've been doing from day one I'm not stopping. I'm doing music, movies and betting. I have a passion for all these things so I'm going to continue."
